the
UWR-Wa
project
In March our first probe was delivered to Brother John Bongnea in Wa. The probe was immediately implemented, and of the first thirty-two women scanned, the following results were identified:
Prenatal scans (21)
Pregnancy determinations (6)
Multiple pregnancy(1)
Ovarian cyst (1)
Ectopic pregnancy (1)
Ruling out an ectopic pregnancy (1)
Myoma (1)
Our next plan is to mobilize the probe to provide this service to those women living in remote areas. To achieve this goal, we are now finalizing the purchase of cost effective and efficient motorcycles. These motorcycles are designed for this rugged terrain, and the probes will be transported with the attending medical team members to women who would otherwise not have access to this life-saving technology.
Please go to our "Get Involved" page, to read more about the probes and the motorcycles, and to see the generous donors to date, who are helping us to make this project a reality!
